The week started off with Oliver and I heading over to Siam Paragon to get haircuts. The gym owner gave us a tip on how to get to the Paragon a whole lot cheaper. We ended up getting a taxi to take us to Bang Wa Station and from there we took the BTS (Bangkok Transit System) train to Siam Paragon for about 52 baht.
Both Oliver and I went to the Shiseido clinic to get haircuts. After getting haircuts we ended up getting tacos from a Mexican Restaurant at the first floor of the mall. It tasted great and very similar to the stuff we get back home.
After window shopping we decided to call it a day and head back to the gym for dinner. Oliver ended up buying a pair of skull candy headphones. I didn't buy anything and after Oliver's purchase we headed back to the camp.
We made it in time for dinner. Dinner this time was spaghetti with bolognese sauce. It was awesome and the best meal yet offered by the camp.
After dinner I just waited. I had a few hours before my taxi would arrive to take me to the airport. My girlfriend was set to arrive at around 11 pm but she sent me a text and told me that her flight was delayed for an hour because of a typhoon. So luckily the gym informed the taxi service to arrive an hour later than planned.
When the taxi arrived I was then whisked away to the airport. The price was already set and the taxi driver was going to wait until Sherryl, my girlfriend, arrived. It made things a whole lot easier. I waited for a bit but then Sherryl and arrived and all was good with the world again.
After we got to the taxi we were taken back to the gym. Sherryl was taken back by the sheer size of Bangkok. I warned her and told her the gym is in the countryside away from Bangkok. After we got back to the gym we got settled and at 2 am we went to sleep.
